Why Wangsa Pelangi
Designed for where you actually are
Most financial content is built for the young and the very wealthy. Our programmes begin from the circumstances that most Malaysians at 40 and beyond actually face.
Small, unhurried groups
Sessions are kept small so that questions receive a proper hearing. No one is left behind because a topic moved too quickly.
Malaysian financial context
EPF, KWSP, unit trusts registered with the SC Malaysia — we work with the instruments and institutions that are actually relevant to your life here.
A pace suited to thinking
Content is spread over weeks and months, not compressed into a weekend. Reflection between sessions is part of the process, not an afterthought.
Written materials you keep
Each programme includes handouts and summary documents designed to be read again later, not just during the session.
No product sales
We do not sell financial products and receive no commission from any fund or insurance provider. The focus stays on your understanding.
Open to questions
There are questions most people hesitate to ask in a large room. Our sessions are structured to make those questions natural and comfortable.

Questions
Some things people ask before joining
Do I need any background in finance to join?
No prior knowledge is assumed. The Courtyard Walk, in particular, is designed for those starting from the very beginning. The Considered Investing Foundations course is also appropriate for first-time investors. The Whole-Picture Retirement Engagement programme works best if you have some familiarity with your own accounts, though the programme itself will help you build that picture.
How are sessions conducted — in person or online?
Group programmes are conducted in person at our premises in Johor Bahru. The Whole-Picture Retirement Engagement, which includes monthly private sessions, can be arranged in person or online depending on your preference and location.
What is the fee structure and how do I pay?
The Courtyard Walk is RM 700, Considered Investing Foundations is RM 1,920, and the Whole-Picture Retirement Engagement is RM 2,790. Payment is made before the programme begins. For the six-month programme, a two-instalment arrangement is available on request. We accept bank transfer and DuitNow.
Will you be selling me any financial products?
No. Wangsa Pelangi is an educational provider only. We are not licensed to sell securities, insurance, or fund products, and we do not receive any commission or referral fees from any financial institution. Our programmes are paid for entirely by participant fees.
When does the next intake begin?
We run the Courtyard Walk and Considered Investing Foundations in rolling intakes — typically one group per programme every six to eight weeks. The Whole-Picture Retirement Engagement has a single track at a time. Please send us an enquiry and we will let you know the next available date for each programme.
Is my personal financial information kept private?
Yes. Any personal financial information shared in sessions — particularly in the private mentoring context — is held in strict confidence. Our group sessions also operate on an agreement among participants that personal details shared are not repeated outside the room.
